Effective 27/10/2026. Mermaid Studio for Confluence is provided by Wattlebrooks Apps.

The short version

Mermaid Studio does not collect, store or share personal data. Nothing you write leaves Atlassian.

Your diagrams

The text of each diagram is stored only in your Confluence page, the same as any other page content. It is covered by your page permissions and page history. Wattlebrooks Apps never receives a copy.

Images and attachments

To make diagrams appear in PDF and Word exports, the app keeps one image attachment per diagram on the same page, and updates it each time you save that diagram from the editor. You control these attachments like any other page attachment, and can view or delete them from the page.

What we do not do

• We do not store anything outside your Confluence site.
• We do not send data to outside servers.
• We do not use cookies or analytics in the app.
• We do not sell or share data, because we do not hold any.
